People who talk to peace activists should be careful not to believe any nasty emails or comments that appear to come from them. For years now, since the federal govt does almost no Internet investigations, we see big money corporations apparently hire harassment groups to go in and try to start trouble among peace activists. One common tactic is to take the activist’s photo to create a clone page on that activist, to basically pretend to be him. The harasser then sees where the activist is leaving nice comments, then the harasser emails that person to say nasty things, while pretending to be the activist. Therefore, don’t always believe nasty emails that appear to come from a peace activist. It could be a clone page. Double check things by rereading the email very slowly. You cannot act fast nor skim over things on the Internet. You have to go slowly to look at the sender’s page. Don’t believe that your friend sent a nasty email until you thoroughly examine the page it came from. A clone page will have its name slightly different from the real person’s page, usually one letter different. Also a clone page will have very few subscribers (like 2 or 3 or 0), thereby revealing it to be a fake clone page.
